Despite rising duty and the inevitability of Trump induced fuel surcharges, we have worked hard to keep the price of our Picpoul the same this year. Winemaker Gilles Canton, now aided by his son Maxime, has excellent vineyards located close enough to the Mediterranean to get the cooling influence, but just far enough away to be on superior argilo-calcaire soils rather than sand (which produces rather dull, flat wines).
