Albarino & Grenache Blanc

In addition to the classic white grapes (Chardonnay, Chenin, Sauvignon and the like), South Africa is producing more and more outstanding wines from more unusual varieties - including these two. Newton Johnson's Albarino is a fabulous twist on a Galician favourite while Piekenierskloof's Grenache Blanc shows that one of our favourite Southern French varieties can thrive in the Southern Hemisphere too.
