Methode Cap Classique

Methode Cap Classique (MCC) is the name for traditional method sparkling wines from the Cape. They represent exceptional value for money compared to Champagne of similar quality and Domaine des Dieux are right up there for quality. Gareth tasted dozens of examples last September when I was in the Cape and very few could match those from des Dieux. Indeed a notable British wine merchant who has made wine in the Cape for many years told me they were the best he had tasted at the CapeWine trade fair. High praise indeed.
