In these Terms, references to “we” or “us” are to Stone, Vine & Sun Limited , a company registered in England and Wales (registered number 05680274) whose registered office is at No.13 Humphrey Farms, Hazeley Road, Twyford, Winchester, SO21 1QA. Our registered VAT number is GB 750 211 478.
Terms of Sale
The placing of an order anywhere on our Sites does not constitute a contract. Order acceptance and the contract between you and us will only be formed on the despatch to you of the product(s) ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it in accordance with the instructions set out in the “Cancellations, Replacements and Refunds” section below. For the avoidance of doubt, a contract is not formed at the point in time that payment has been taken from you by us nor at the point when you receive an email from us acknowledging receipt of your order.
Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:
- The product(s) you ordered being unavailable from stock
- Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment
- Our inability to verify that you are aged over 18
- The identification of a pricing or product description error
- The repeated or fraudulent use of Discount Codes, eGift Cards, Loyalty Points.
We will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old where the delivery recipient is not you, you confirm that the recipient is also at least 18 years old. We reserve the right not to deliver if we are unsure of this.
The placing of an order anywhere on our website does not constitute a contract, which is made only when we accept your order and process payment.
We reserve the right not to accept any order.
All goods are offered subject to availability. We cannot guarantee the availability of specific vintages.
Our website checks stock against our stock control system at the time of purchase so is not guaranteed as accurate in all circumstances.
In the event that a product is unavailable after an order is placed, we shall contact you to arrange replacement, or another acceptable arrangement for the completion of your order.
eGift Cards can be used to purchase all products at our shop.
eGift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Unused vouchers after this time cannot be refunded.
eGift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash, returned for a refund, have their balances consolidated to a new voucher or be replaced after expiry and are not legal tender.
If your purchase exceeds the value of the gift voucher, balance must be paid by cash, debit or credit card.
If your purchase value is less than the face value of the gift voucher redeemed, no change can be given.
If you return any products you have purchased using a gift voucher, the refund balance will be returned to you in the form of a gift voucher.
Gift vouchers cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
We reserve the right to cancel a gift voucher if we deem necessary. If so, we may either provide a replacement gift voucher of equivalent value unless we suspect fraud in relation to a gift voucher.
We reserve the right to vary or replace these conditions at any time.

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling, and may be per bottle or per case, as indicated. The prices include UK duty and VAT, unless otherwise specified. Any delivery charges are additional, unless otherwise specified.
Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on our Website is accurate occasionally an error may occur and products may be incorrectly priced. In the event that a product you have ordered is listed at an incorrect price we will contact you by telephone or email before despatching your products asking you to confirm if you still wish to proceed with your order at the correct price or cancel your order. If you do not confirm that you wish to proceed with the order within seven days of the date of our email, we will consider this is a cancellation of your order.
Where a particular wine is part of a pre-mix case with a general discount applied, the discounted price for the case is relative to the non-discounted prices for the constituent wines.
We reserve the right to alter prices without notice in the event of major currency fluctuations, changes in the rate of duty, VAT or other taxes or import tariffs (including but not limited to the imposition of any new or replacement duty or tariff by the WTO or any other competent authority domestic or international) or other market conditions.
We reserve the right to withdraw any offer at any point without notice.
Unless otherwise stated, Promotional/Discount Codes are only to be used once in any single transaction and may have an expiry date or other restrictions on use. Promotional/Discount Codes are non-transferable, may not be sold at auction and have no cash alternative. Where a Promotional/Discount Codes is used in breach of the above conditions we reserve the right to refuse to supply wines to you or to make a charge equivalent to the value of the Promotional/Discount Codes against the payment card used on the contravening order or take steps to redeem the products as we deem appropriate. A charge may be made to cover the cost of recovery of the products.
Our Standard Delivery - The majority of orders are currently being delivered within 2-4 days of your order, except where indicated on our website. However, during peak periods or periods of adverse weather conditions this may be extended.
Standard Delivery is free on orders over £100 for delivery to England, Wales and Scotland (excluding the Scottish Highlands and Islands (including Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly. Isle of Wight and Northern Ireland).
Delivery prices are currently: 1-5 bottles £10.00 6-11 bottles £8.501 case of 12 bottles £5.95 13-24 bottles £8.50

We do not deliver outside the UK.
Click & Collect
We offer a next business day collection service for customers, please indicate if you would like to collect your order directly from the shop, by selecting Click & Collect. By selecting Click & Collect we will not deliver your order to any address and you agree to collect it from our shop, whose address is No.13 Humphrey Farms, Hazeley Road, Twyford, Winchester, SO21 1QA at your expense.

All prices are inclusive of UK VAT except where the price is for En Primeur Wine.
Promotional offers and prices are as stated, with no further discounts available.
Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on this website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mis-priced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either: contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price; or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.
We reserve the right to adjust prices, offers, goods and specifications of goods at our discretion at any time before (but not after) we accept your order. Where an end date is specified on any offer on the website, it is intended as a guide only. We reserve the right to change prices at any time.
We will provide a full refund or replacement for any wines that are faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights.
We may require faulty bottles to be returned to us. We will arrange this as necessary at your convenience.
We offer a no quibble guarantee. If you’re unhappy with any aspect of your wine we’ll provide a refund or a replacement without fuss, though we reserve the right to make a small charge to cover collection and delivery.
Should you decide to cancel, all charges to you will be refunded as soon as the goods are returned in a saleable condition to us.
In the event of complaint please email email@example.com giving as much detail as you can, alternatively you can call us on 01962 712351. All complaints will be acknowledged within 2 business days and you can expect a full resolution of your complaint within a further 3 business days. You will be kept informed if there is any delay beyond this. Each complaint will be treated as confidential and will be attended to by a senior manager or director.
In the first instance please contact us by email or telephone, as indicated on your order confirmation email and on the website.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and any disputes will be decided only by the English courts.
Please note that the images of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we use our best efforts to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your device's display of the colours accurately reflect the colour of the products. The products you purchase may vary slightly from those images.
You have certain legal rights in respect of any products or services you purchase from us, including that such products are of satisfactory quality and that services are provided with reasonable care and skill. You have certain legal remedies if we breach these rights. Nothing in these Terms of Sale is intended to affect or limit these legal rights or other rights to which you may also be entitled, for example to damages. For more information about your legal rights please contact your local Citizens Advice Service or Trading Standards Service.
Our liability for any losses, damage or costs you suffer as a result of us failing to comply with these Terms of Sale is strictly limited to any losses, damage or costs which are a foreseeable consequence of such failure. Loss, damage or a cost is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen, or if, at the time the contract was made, both we and you knew it might happen.
We are not responsible for any delay in, or failure of, performance of our obligations under these Terms of Sale arising from any event which is outside of our control (for example, an act of God, governmental act, war, fire, adverse weather conditions including snow, flood or storm, explosion or civil commotion, failure of a third party (other than our sub-contractors) or in information technology or telecommunications services, or industrial action). In the event of a significant delay or failure, we will contact you and take reasonable steps to minimise the effect of the delay or failure. If you are unhappy with a delay which affects your order, you may cancel the order and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received by contacting us. If you subsequently receive your order after cancelling it and getting a refund, you must let us know and allow us to collect the products you have received.
We will not be liable to you or to any third party for any loss, damage or costs which arise as a result of:
Your failure to lift, transport, store or otherwise handle any product in an appropriate and safe manner; or
Your failure to comply with the recommendations set out in the “Risks, warnings and storage conditions” section below; or
Any spillages or breakages involving one or more of our products, unless such loss, damage or cost arises as a result of our negligence or one of our products being faulty or defective.
Nothing in these Terms of Sale shall affect our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, for fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
