Domaine du Grand Arc (Corbieres)

Sad news. Twenty two years after we first shipped Bruno Schenk’s wines, this is the last time we will be able to offer them. Bruno is retiring and his children have made the decision that there are easier ways to make a living than tending vines in the hills of Corbières. With the impact of climate change and a domestic market on its uppers, it is not hard to see why. It is a victory for reason over romance.

Even so, it is a tremendous shame when such a wonderful domaine shuts its cellar doors for the final time. We have already sold the last of the Grand Arc Blanc but do have stock of the two reds. It is very much WIGIG time – so don’t miss the opportunity to get a last case or two. The wines are on great form and will continue to age well in the cellar for a few years yet. Don’t miss out.
