Our usual favourite amongst the single vineyard wines, from a steep vineyard below the cellar, a one hectare, south-east facing site on calcareous marl. Aged only in traditional large Slavonian oak vats, the 2022 is very good indeed. Big, bold and ripe with the intensity of fruit to match the tannins. The alcohol is undoubtedly high but there is enough of everything else to keep balanced. Now-2035
