We have just shipped more of this terrific white Crozes, a blend of 70% Marsanne and 30% Roussanne with about a third of the Marsanne aged in 500 litre oak demi-muids, the rest in stainless steel. Deliciously aromatic. Lightly herbal with notes of acacia and orange blossom threaded through it. The palate has some weight to it but is fresh and vibrant. Flat peach, custard apple, with some mirabelle plum all mingle together with great effect. Drink with creamy chicken and veal dishes. Now-2027
“Pale gold. Inviting aroma of lightly spicy stone fruits and pears, suggesting the breadth and richness of a Rhône white. Just a little bit nutty, too. There's tangy sour freshness, if not high acidity, to balance the richness of fruit and a nice grip to the texture as well as a salty aftertaste that highlights the freshness.
