England Expects – Top Rated Sparkling Wines

In June Decanter magazine published the results of a blind tasting of 66 non-vintage English sparklers – and it was highly gratifying to see three of our regular selections - Ambriel, Exton Park and Domaine Hugo - at the top of the rankings. Quotes on the first three wines below are from that Decanter tasting, which in particular applauded the use of reserve wines to improve the quality of the latest releases. The fourth wine, the pink Black Chalk Wild Rose hails from just down the road from our warehouse in the Test Valley, recently won a terrific review from Jancis Robinson herself.
