Montepulciano is one of central Italy's signature grapes and this is a terrific example; a huge step up on the average trattoria bottle of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. The wine is unoaked to preserve all the fresh fruit character and it sings with morello cherry, damson and blackberry notes.
