A new project from the brilliant Paul Maury (of Combe St.-Paul fame). A selection of fruit from their old vines in the foothills of the limestone rock of La Clape has been given extended lees ageing and the merest hint of oak influence. Appealing scent of white flowers, stone fruit and a 2hint of butter. Generous fruit - yellow plum and green melon - with that limestone bite and freshness. Splendid length for a wine at this price. Clearly not a cool climate Chardonnay but so winning. Now-2026
