Toulet has been producing sweet wines since the 13th century and for the last five generations hs belonged to the Tourre family, who farm 40 hectares around Loupiac, the appellation just on the other side of the Garonne river from Sauternes and Barsac.
A blend of 80% Semillon and 20%, very elegant and aromatic. Notes of elderflower and honey are present along with some pleasing citrus and stone fruit. Not intensely sweet, this makes for a great all rounder with lighter desserts; or would be most at home with blue cheese or foie gras. Now-2026
