Winrrer of the Trophy for Best Sparkling Rosé in the 2024 Wine GB awards.
This is from a micro vineyard - just 2500 vines! - lying north of the A4 between Newbury and Hungerford, with the owners totally focused on hand-tending the vines. Just the second release of a rosé, it’s based on Pinot Noir with a little Pinot Meunier, given 18 months on the lees. In addition to the trophy mentioned above it took one of only ten gold medals awarded in the 2024 Independent English Wine Awards. This is a beautifully judged marriage of bright red fruit - strawberries and even a hint of pomegranate - and toasty / pastry elements. Lots of flavour and drive. Now-2026
