Broad and rich – for a richly sauced fish dish? Some herbal Roussanne influence evident, but so is the alcohol. Not an aperitif! A rich wine that is just the right side of heavy. 16/20 Drink 2022-2024 Jancis Robinson MW, May 2023
This is from numerous parcels planted on some of the Vidal family’s highest land about forty years ago; a blend of Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Vermentino, Marsanne, Clairette and Bourbolenc. This is so fragrant and aromatic, offering up hothouse scents of citrus blossom and lilies. Stone-fruited with splendid intensity of fruit. It’s no surprise that this has become so popular amongst our customers in just a few years. Drink this year.
