L’Estabel is a small co-operative in the hills of Cabrieres, choosing to carry on bottling this wine in the flute-shaped bottle traditionally used here. As with neighbouring Faugères, the soils here are schist-based, although at Estabel they say they are better for vines as the local schist is slightly less acid and more neutral.
