Pure Mourvèdre, and a superb wine. Completely opaque purple in the glass. There is a savoury quality to the wine, with game notes and spice blending brilliantly. This is all underpinned by a little minerality and some dark fruit. There are significant tannins, but they do not overpower the fruit. Fine to drink now with food but will really show at its best in the coming years. Now-2028.
