100% Sangiovese grown on sandstone and clay, given two years in oak; 70% in large neutral vats and 30% in small French barrels. Showing a little maturity of hue in the glass, this is just on the turn between bold red fruit and the attractive savouriness which develops with time in bottle. Tannins and acidity melding with the fruit; plenty of grip for keeping. In Tuscany you would drink it with a rare Chianina beefsteak - go for a ribeye here. Now-2028
