Brothers Alberto and Ezio Taliano, third generation growers, grow their grapes away from the more celebrated sites in Piedmont. The family owns 13 hectares in total, with parcels spread over a wide area. The majority are in the Roero, just to the north of the river Tanaro, but there are also vines in the Langhe, the source of the excellent Blagheur Nebbiolo d’Alba. The winemaking is traditional and honest, true to the grapes and vineyards, and the wines themselves are transparent and well-priced, especially for Piedmont.
