We have long been champions of this style of fizz, importing this pair from Domaine de Dieux in Hemel-en-Aarde for many years. The secret to the Dieux MCCs is the long bottle ageing they receive which slowly adds depth and richness, balancing the crisp citrus fruit. Both wines have recently received excellent reviews, performing very well in multiple press tastings against wines with much higher price tags. The Rose of Sharon even received an extremely rare VVGV (Very Very Good Value) from Jancis Robinson herself.
