We all love Franck Thomas's vintage Champagne and feel we don't feature it enough as we sell so much of his standard cuvée, our house Champagne. This is from a very different blend with Chardonnay taking the leading role with 50% of the blend, followed by 30% Pinot Noir and 20% Pinot Meunier. This assemblage gives the wine an added freshness and zip compared to the Brut whilst maintaining the toasty, brioche-like notes that characterise all Thomas-Hatté Champagnes. A definite step up from the Brut, more ageworthy too; and superb value at just over a fiver more per bottle. Now-2030
