Vin Jaune is the Jura’s unique gift to the world of wine, a long aged oxidative wine made from 100% Savagnin and traditionally bottled in 62cl Clavelin bottles to reflect the wine lost to evaporation during the long maturation. Lambert’s is aged for over six years in barrel with the flor-like yeast allowing the slow development of nutty, dried fruit flavours. Aromatic and complex on the nose with hints of old leather books and pickled walnuts. Bone dry, long and saline on the palate with notes of ceps and spices. Capable of very long ageing too. Now-2040
