The top red from a 7th generation estate in the south of the Graves region – and the best vintage we have shipped (having started with the 2006).Terrific claret made with 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot. Refined, cigar-box perfume. Open, black-fruited attack; so aromatically expressive, with a richly textured depth of black (and a little red) fruit flavours enlivened by secondary hints of smoke, dark liquorice and Christmas spice.
