The team at Des Dieux, with vineyards high in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, are aspiring to make a rosé comparable to grand Provence examples - but at a much lower price! It's a Provençale blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre and Grenache given a bit of barrel ageing. Pale pink but with wonderful pronounced aromas of flat peach and red berry. The palate is creamy and with good weight. Flavours of tangerine, orange blossom and nectarine abound. This is delicious on its own but is great with food: anything spicy or from the BBQ would be ideal. Now-2025
