Climate change has, on the whole, been kind to Bordeaux — notwithstanding terrible vintages in 2013, 2017, 2021 and 2024. The wines from sunnier years have a ripeness and generosity to them now which is delicious. Wine-making has evolved too, with far more sophisticated tannin management.
