Cape Rock White, Olifants River, 2016

28th November 2016

"42% Viognier, 33% Grenache Blanc, 25% Roussanne planted in a single vineyard in a region not that often seen on a wine label. Some barrel ageing so a great price. And very smart packaging.Mid gold. Masses of flavour! Rich and yet not heavy. This is ridiculously underpriced. Mid to full bodied but not heavy. A wine to be served with rich food rather than as an aperitif. Long and with great balance. Many congratulations to both producer and retailer. VGV 14% 16.5/20 Drink 2016-2018"
