Founded by Englishman Robert Bird in 1933, Esk Valley is an old estate by Kiwi standards. This Pinot Gris is from twenty year old vines grown on gravel river terraces formed by the Ngaruroro River. The warm days and cool nights of this region create a well-rounded and perfumed example. Notes of acacia and conference pear greet you with delicious red apple following.
