Summer Languedoc Whites Case
When it comes to refreshing but characterful whites for long, hot midsummer evenings, the South of France is hard to beat. The appellations made not be as famous as Chablis or Sancerre, but these are wines designed to be drunk to the sound of cicadas.
We’ve created a case with four of our favourites from our Beautiful South offer earlier this year. They are all dry and fresh with pure fruit unencumbered by oak; perfect for drinking pre-dinner or with summery seafood and salads. To put it another way, these are the sort of wines that go down best when you have a glass in one hand and a slightly battered old croquet mallet – or pétanque boule - in the other
