Based on 45% Carignan with 35% Grenache and 20% Syrah, all in barrel, about 20% new: a blend at the Schenk cellar first made by Father Bruno when he was forty years old - hence the name. Dark fruits on nose; very ripe and full bodied with definite tannins and a long finish. Such promise - but does anyone lay down a wine at this price? It's worth it. Now-2028
