Vineyards were planted here by the Romans but abandoned after phylloxera; and only revived from the late 1990s. From young vines planted on schistous soils over gneiss on the south-west facing Roche Couloure slope at around 275m. Given 12 months in demi-muids, this shows a skein of vanilla over high-toned, crunchy fruit. Vibrant and thrilling. Such purity. Now-2027.
