Beaujolais: Domaine de la Chapelle des Bois

La Chapelle des Bois is a long established name in Fleurie, owned for many years by the Coudert family, but now under the stewardship of Frédéric Montangeron. The reds are classic Beaujolais: juicy, fresh Gamay with joyful red fruit. This year we have also shipped some of Frédéric’s Beaujolais Blanc. White Beaujolais may sound unusual to some, but several Mâcon appellations overlap with Beaujolais and with the prices of white Burgundy heading ever upwards, there is some great value Chardonnay to be found here
