Son Mathieu has now taken over the Blanchet family vineyards and their tiny cellar in Pouilly-sur-Loire. Year in, year out, ever since the 2001 vintage, the family has given us wines so true to the appellation. The estate grows 100% Sauvignon Blanc on 9.5 hectares covering Kimmeridgian clays, flint and limestone. These wines offer superb value and authenticity — and match a wide range of foods, from oysters, white fish and sushi to asparagus.
