Denis Capmartin has reimagined his principal sweet wine for the latest 2023 vintage. It has a new name - Elixir - and a smarter label, it’s now termed Doux and the back label states “Petit Manseng Majoritaire”, whereas it was largely from Gros Manseng before. As such it it's a little sweeter, purer and classier than previously: it's very clean (very little, if any, botrytis) and tastes of fresh apricots and heather honey. Perfect accompaniment to rich liver pate, foie gras or blue cheese. Now-2030
