“Heady and succulent. Frangipani and lychee, mango and linalool. The oak-fermented Roussanne has given the wine a magnificently rich, unctuous burnish, a hint of creamy butterscotch and coffee, but it hasn't lost its floral top notes or lovely, long, long seams of deeply inset green-nut and walnut bitterness. And the acidity, like salted lime, is etched into every stitch. Something here that reminds me of white Châteauneuf, but just so much more freshness and vitality. Very impressive. And it will age.
