From two parcels, one planted in 1954 and the other in 1982, in this top 1er Cru, which faces west in the line of the Grand Crus. Shows that much more density and length than the Chablis above. Pearly texture, the fruit a little withheld, saline accent on the citrus and cream. 2025-2029
"From two parcels, one planted 1954 and one in 1982, west-facing premier cru. Not as open as the Chablis but with the impression of greater intensity. Chewy, crisp and textured, needing time to open and yet with a core of fine citrus fruit. A little more weight and length than the village Chablis and likely to benefit from at least a couple more years in the bottle but should age longer than that.
