White Burgundy remains the reference point for winemakers all around the world – nowhere else can quite match the balance, freshness and depth of flavour that comes from Chardonnay grown on limestone soils in this part of France. A special mention for Lequin-Colin’s Back to the Roots Chardonnay – it’s a rich, buttery wine that knocks many a  village or 1er Cru wine for six.
