“2024 style: purists’ Pinot, elegant whites” Matthew Hayes, jancisrobinson.com

Start 2026 in style with a wide ranging tasting of Burgundy’s 2024 vintage. We will be pouring over 50 wines from the vintage and will be joined by more of our growers than ever before.

The 2024 growing season was a complicated one with heavy April frosts and a very wet spring followed by a long, slow ripening season. The growers were tested to the full in the vineyards. The resulting wines are, to quote Thiébault Huber (Domaine Huber-Verdereau), “traditional and expressive” with a clean, pure fruit and a seam of fine acidity.

This is not a blockbuster Burgundy vintage but one with charming, red-fruited Pinots and classically-styled Chardonnays that have a welcome freshness after the warmer vintages of 2022 and 2023.

As ever in Burgundy, individual crus and parcels all express the season differently - and there is no better way to understand the vintage than to taste them in the company of the people who tended the vines and made the wines.

Tickets cost £20 per head. To purchase a ticket please click HERE

All the wines will be available to buy en primeur by the case (shipped at a later date with a great discount on future list prices).  Read more about en primeur sales.
