"More subtle on the nose than the Rully Les Villeranges, grassy lemon freshness and a slight stoniness. There’s clearly some oak here, with a cedar-like flavour and a creamy texture. Drier than the Rully but plenty of fruit sweetness. Likely to be GV. 16/20, drink 2019-2022" Julia Harding MW on jancisrobinson.com tasted 13th November 2018.

From a monopole vineyard between Mercurey and neighbouring Rully. The grapes are pressed and vinified in Faiveley’s local cellar to maintain freshness. Just over half is barrel fermented, (25% new oak), and the rest is raised in tank. Lively with grapefruit and pears and a hint of honey. This is ripe and attractively wrapped in toasty oak. Now-2022
