Left Field is the label under which top Hawkes Bay winery Te Awa sells their more whimsical wines. We have tasted several Kiwi Albariños over the years, and this is the first we have found to combine authenticity and value.
It makes complete sense to grow the grape of Galicia and northern Portugal in maritime New Zealand. This is stone-fruited, lightly floral and shows a little heft. Good value.Now-2026
