Errazuriz, Don Maximiano Founder's Reserve, 2020
The flag ship wine from the Errazuriz estate this is a blockbuster expression of Cabernet Sauvignon. From the Aconcagua valley there is freshness in this wine alongside richness. Deep ruby in the glass, aromas of cassis, menthol and cigar box leap out of the glass. The palate is balanced with dark fruit and fine boned tannins. It is delicious now but will age well over the coming decade. A delicious alternative to Left Bank Bordeaux. Now -2030
