225 is an open cluster in the constellation Cassiopeia - hence the excitingly spaced out label. This is a super, nicely ready, Ronseal (does what it says on the tin), well-oaked Mendoza Malbec. It's based on superb fruit from the very old wines at the Carinae estate, now almost within the spreading southern edge of the city. Energy and power, all gorgeous and dense brambly and cherry fruit with just the right acidity to balance the lush fruit flavours. Of course it's great with a grilled steak, but a wine like this is just as good with a wide range of grilled or roast meat, including the Christmas turkey - it stand up perfectly to sausages, bacon, cranberry and bread sauces.
