From a single vineyard, a high, very cool site (hence the name), planted to five clones, in cleared forest in the Upper Yarra. The fruit is picked early in the morning, whole bunch pressed to tank, left to settle overnight and then decanted into barrel. Intense aromas; appley and fresh. So expansive, flavours of stone fruit. Textured and rich but also beautifully balanced; and very long. The best Chardonnay at the estate in this vintage. Now-2028
