This is made in a more traditional style: it’s a substantial red which grows on you, opening out beautifully with a pleasant warmth and vitality. Generous red and black fruit flavours are cut by fine acidity. Terrific aromatics and ripe but present tannins make this a perfect accompaniment to strongly flavoured meats, whether grilled from the barbecue or in a hearty casserole. Now-2026.
