Languedoc-Roussillon

There’s something very complete about our annual offer of wines from the Languedoc and Roussillon: with whites, rosés and reds, and wonderful fortified wines, the Vins Doux Naturels which are such a speciality of the region, there should be something for all tastes. Secondly, there are wines for every budget; at every level we believe these wines continue to offer terrific interest...

Mas des Brousses

Mas des Brousses Brousses translates as bush, or brush; this is, literally, the farm in the brush. Amidst the rolling scrub-covered hills around Puéchabon and the pebble-strewn terrasses near the Hérault river lie the domaine’s plots of vines. Mas des Brousses, Chasseur des Brousses, IGP Saint-Guilhem-Le-Desert, 2019

This is from organically farmed (and certified) vines up in the wild hills at Puechabon, north-west Montpellier. The recipe for this successful marriage of Bordeaux and the south has changed over recent years; in this vintage it's based on young vine Mourvedre with old vine Merlot, plus a little Syrah and Grenache. Juicy, sappy red cherry, strawberry and blackcurrant flavours - spiced by a little of Mourvedre's savouriness. This feels crunchy and vital - very moreish and perfect for spring and summer drinking. Energy and aromatics on the finish. Now-2023

Absolutely loving the sun case, what a great way to be introduced to new wines.

Just wanted to say thank you so much for sending my order of 2 x Domaine Begude Rosé to my son and daughter-in-law - I couldn't believe that they received it within a day of my placing the order with you. That is IMPRESSIVE, especially given the current trying times.
