Wilfrid Rousse has 18 hectares of Cabernet Franc, across a wide range of soils. Les Galuches is from young vines grown on sand and gravel lying near to the river Vienne: it’s always a perfectly correct, fresh, lead-pencil Chinon for early drinking. A 7Ha vineyard on the plateau of Beaumont-en-Véron is the source of Cuvée Terroir; aged for 12 month in barrel, this won a Ligier d'Or at Angers in February.
