Deep purple. Attractive autumnal aromas - hedgerow fruits and herbs. A wine just à point between youth and maturity, with plenty of vigorous damson and briary fruit but also exhibiting subtle hints of smoke, dried fruit and even tea. So well-textured, with a decent backing of firm but ripe tannins. Southern fruit but classic structure, and fine wine by any standards. Now-2014
