Given 12 months in French oak (about 10% new) this medium coloured, charmingly red-fruited wine is crafted in a light and elegant style, and as such would appeal to Burgundy lovers as much as New World Pinot fans. Lovely red berried scent. Very pure red cherry and strawberry character, with that delicious fruit just highlighted with milk chocolate from the oak barrels. Gently creamy, very long, and showing true Pinot perfume, this has to be winemaker Felipe Muller’s best vintage yet: terrific.
