This includes 8% Cabernet Franc, and is given 18 months in oak (largely French with some American), 25% new. Such Bordeaux-like aromas: black fruit with cinnamon and cedar. Very ripe attack, a coulis of crushed berries, but that intense fruit is counterbalanced by fine acidity, herbal notes and woodsmoke. Builds well on the palate. Smooth and fine. Now-2014
