This used to be called the Santa Cruz Cabernet, renamed to reflect the fact that the Cabernet comes from blocks of the Monte Bello vineyard. 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, with 22% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot, this is very concentrated, supple and velvety, with lifted, surprisingly red, fruit. 2012-2016
