A good value Shiraz sourced from small growers in the Barossa, given a little more elegance than some through being aged in French rather than American oak barrels. Dark purple. Scents of black plum and cherry with smoky, leathery accents. Medium bodied, supple, with a juicy core of crushed plum and loganberries. Not a blockbuster, but smooth and finishes fresh. Now-2013
