As in the previous vintage a north wind in September dried the grapes. Pale youthful gold. Pure flavours of ripe apricot. Perhaps lacking the hedonism of the 2007, this is still an extremely delicious bottle to accompany all manner of desserts. Whether you choose to drink or keep this, it’s still absurdly good value.
