Mildly unusual, in that this is a blend of halves of Grenache and Mourvèdre; the latter, from 30-40 year old vines, was superbly ripe in this vintage. Really fat and textured, with supple, super-ripe tannins, and exhibiting flagrant black cherry fruit. Terrific. Now-2015
